The story of Jonah has always intrigued me since I first heard the tale as a boy. A guy gets eaten by a whale? I was already terrified of water, especially after watching the movie, “Jaws,” which already had ruined my desire for my nightly baths. However, as I am now older, and look back, there are some poignant truths to behold within the confines of the four chapters.
